NSS Members Only
In this art session, participants will learn to sketch and paint plants, helping them observe and remember key features of different species. Held at the Singapore Botanic Gardens, this session is also a follow-up to our past plant walks, where participants learned to identify various plants. Those who have not attended previous plant walks are most welcome to join as this is a great opportunity to learn about plant morphology through art.
No art background/experience is needed, and families are encouraged to join. The session will start with the basics of sketching and colour mixing. To make the most of this learning experience, we encourage all participants to try their hand at sketching and/or painting during the session.
Activity Lead: Dr Sng Bee Bee & Ms Jayasree Alamuru, NSS Plant Group Members
